WHAT IS SIDE-LYING MASSAGE

Side-Lying Massage is a gentle, supportive approach designed to prioritize comfort, safety, and ease in the body.

Instead of lying face down or face up, you’ll be positioned on your side with supportive bolsters and pillows to fully cradle the body. This positioning can feel especially grounding for those who may not feel comfortable in traditional massage positions.

This session focuses on slow, intentional techniques that support the nervous system, reduce tension, and create a sense of physical and emotional ease.

Side-Lying Massage can be booked as a standalone session or added onto a longer treatment for additional support.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your session begins with a brief conversation about your comfort levels, preferences, and any areas of focus.

You'll be carefully positioned on your side using pillows and bolsters to ensure your body feels fully supported and at ease.

Your therapist will use slow, steady techniques tailored to your needs, working in a way that feels non-invasive and grounding. The pace of the session is intentionally calming, allowing your nervous system to settle while still addressing areas of tension.

This approach is especially supportive for clients who:

• Prefer not to lie face down or face up
• Are navigating heightened stress or sensitivity
• Are seeking a more comforting, contained experience

Every element of the session can be adjusted to ensure you feel safe, supported, and in control.
