WHAT IS MASSAGE + TRADITIONAL THERAPIES
Massage + Traditional Therapies combines intuitive, hands-on massage with time-tested tools and techniques, including flexible silicone cupping, Tok Sen percussion and Gua Sha. These modalities allow your therapist to approach stubborn tension in different ways, helping address restricted tissue, chronic aches and areas that may not respond as fully to massage alone.

Every therapist brings their own clinical background, training and personal approach to these traditional practices. Your session is customized to meet your body where it is, with tools selected based on your comfort, goals and areas of concern.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your therapist will begin by discussing how your body is feeling and what you would like to address. Traditional therapies may be incorporated throughout your massage or focused on specific areas of tension.

Silicone Cupping uses gentle suction to lift and separate layers of muscle and connective tissue. The cups may remain in place briefly or be moved across the skin to support circulation and mobility.

Tok Sen is a traditional Northern Thai technique that uses a specialized wooden mallet and peg to create rhythmic vibrations. These vibrations travel through dense muscle tissue and may help release tension in areas that are difficult to access through pressure alone.

Gua Sha uses smooth, rounded tools that glide along the skin and connective tissue. This technique may help soften restricted fascia, address localized tension and encourage circulation within the treated area.

Your therapist will explain each technique before using it and adjust the pressure, intensity and tools based on your preferences.
