Hear From Our Team

“ I joined TCC newly out of massage school and I had tons of support as a new therapist. I was able to gain confidence and experience through one on one time with Megan and other coworkers who had years of massage under their belts. At our monthly meetings we discuss and practice different techniques so we all have the opportunity to grow as a team and individually.” - Bayli Jo Ballard

“The Care Collective is such a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The staff and coworkers openly share ideas and learn from one another, which helps us all grow. As therapists, we’re also given the freedom to personalize our sessions and shape our own professional development—something that’s not always possible at other massage studios.” - Aria Cardwell

“Joining The Care Collective Wellness Team was like a breath of fresh air after leaving a high stress animal care job. I feel like I have found a place where I am best supported, and truly valued. Our clients are amazing, we have great benefits, and all of the people we work with are so kind and fun to work with! " - Chloe Woods

"The Care Collective fosters a work environment that is nurturing, constructive, and above all, supportive. TCC leadership has been so encouraging throughout my time on the Wellness Team. They always take the time to thoroughly answer any questions that arise during the workday and provide ongoing mentorship and growth opportunities for all of their employees. Everyone I work with is kind, positive, and possesses a collaborative mindset. The massage therapists and members of the Wellness Team consistently go above and beyond for both their clients and colleagues. I love interacting with each person who walks through our doors, and our clients consistently put a smile on my face!" - Melanie Passajou-Dick

Front Desk & Wellness Associate
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING:

This is a professional-level, year-round position. It is NOT an entry-level role, nor is it a temporary or seasonal position. We are specifically looking for local professionals who want a stable, long-term career home and are invested in growing with our space. Seasonal applicants, temporary students, or short-term job seekers will not be considered.

The Care Collective has built an amazing reputation for offering reliable care and deep community support here in the High Country. We are seeking an experienced, career-minded Front Desk & Wellness Associate to join our team.

In this role, you are the face of our wellness space and the backbone of our daily operations. We need someone who brings maturity, high organizational skills, technical competence, and a proven track record of absolute reliability to every single shift.

What You'll Do

Our operations are split into two distinct areas of focus depending on your shift. Both roles are fully customer-facing and require excellent interpersonal skills.

1. Front of House Focus (Scheduling & Check-In)

  • The First & Last Impression: Greet 20+ clients per shift by name, check them in, answer questions, and handle the check-out process, including processing payments and retail sales quickly and accurately.

  • Calendar Optimization: Take charge of our complex, multi-practitioner calendar—maximizing booking efficiency, minimizing empty gaps, and handling real-time adjustments for 10+ practitioners seamlessly.

  • CRM Maintenance & Data Entry: Maintain 100% accuracy in our client database (CRM). You will handle daily data entry, manage client files, and keep our customer documentation current, detailed, and easily understood.

2. Back of House Focus (Sauna Operations & Daily Tasks)

  • Sauna Management & Hospitality: Manage and cater directly to our sauna clients. You will prepare infrared sauna sessions to exact standards, educate clients on proper usage, and maintain strict safety and sanitation protocols.

  • Turnaround & Space Maintenance: Take ownership of daily tasks, including high-turnaround laundry, flipping and resetting rooms efficiently between the AM and PM shifts, and restocking supplies before they run low.

  • Equipment Care: Perform daily cleaning protocols and minor troubleshooting on our Clearlight infrared saunas to ensure optimal performance.

Real-Time Coordination (Applies to Both Focuses)

  • Actively coordinate with our team of 10+ practitioners during your shift to manage room changes and client requests on the fly so our care never stumbles.

What We’re Looking For

  • Established Professionalism (Required): Prior career experience in a high-touch customer service, hospitality, medical front desk, spa, or boutique fitness environment. Experience in a supervisor or shift-lead role is highly valued.

  • Long-Term, Year-Round Commitment: You are looking for a permanent position in the High Country.

  • Operational & Technical Competence: Highly organized, systems-minded, and comfortable navigating CRM software and precise data entry. You take initiative and look for solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.

  • Proven Reliability: You are the person who is consistently early, anticipates the needs of the space, and understands that showing up for your scheduled shift is non-negotiable.

  • Calm Under Pressure: You can multitask effortlessly during busy shift blocks while maintaining a warm, grounded, and professional presence.

Details & Perks

  • Hours: Consistent, stable weekly schedules.

    • Part-Time: 26–32 hours per week (3–4 shifts per week)

    • Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week (5 shifts per week)

  • Perks: Competitive hourly pay, retail/service commission opportunities, and an employee discount.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Available after 6 months of employment for team members who maintain at least 30 hours per week.

Ready to Apply?

If you are a reliable professional ready to step into a long-term role within a high-standard wellness space, please email your resume to Jobs@takecareboone.com.

Please include a brief, straightforward cover letter explaining your long-term availability in the High Country and why you are the right fit for The Care Collective.

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

  • Work Location: In person (Boone, NC)
