CRANIO SACRAL THERAPY

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on form of bodywork that focuses on the skull, spine, and sacrum. It is based on the idea that there is a subtle rhythm in the flow of cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, and that restrictions in this rhythm can contribute to various health issues. Practitioners use light touch to assess and release these restrictions, aiming to restore balance and improve the body's natural healing abilities.

  • Gentle touch: the practitioner will use a very light touch, often no more than the weight of a nickel, to assess and gently manipulate your skull, spine, and sacrum.

  • Stillness and relaxation: you will be encouraged to relax and simply be present with your body. You may fall asleep or drift into a meditative state.

  • Subtle sensations: you might experience subtle sensations like warmth, tingling, pulsing, or a sense of deep relaxation. Some people report feeling a release of tension or emotional shifts.

  • Open communication: your practitioner will likely check in with you throughout the session to see how you're feeling and adjust their approach as needed.

90 MINUTE

This extended session allows for a more in-depth exploration of the craniosacral system and may be beneficial for individuals with complex or chronic conditions. It provides ample time for the body to release deeper tensions and for the practitioner to address multiple areas of concern.

60 MINUTE

This is the most common session length, providing ample time for a comprehensive assessment and treatment of the entire craniosacral system. It allows for deeper relaxation and a more thorough exploration of any underlying issues.

15 MINUTE

15 minutes can be added to any massage session with our CST providers. Suitable for addressing specific issues or for those seeking a brief introduction to craniosacral therapy. It allows for a focused treatment on a particular area or concern.
