Everything you need to know for a safe, relaxing, and restorative sauna experience.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
For Your Sauna Session
Yes, we recommend booking your appointment in advance to ensure availability and to give us time to prepare the best possible experience for you.
WHAT TO WEAR
For Your Sauna Session
When visiting The Care Collective for a sauna session, please be aware that nudity is not allowed. You may wear a bathing suit, athletic wear, shorts, a sports bra, or feel free to use one of the robes we provide.
WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF A SAUNA?
Overall Wellness
Both sauna types offer benefits like stress relief, improved circulation, muscle recovery, and detoxification. Infrared saunas work by gently heating the body from the inside out, while traditional saunas use ambient heat to encourage sweating and relaxation.
For more information on each, you can visit the Infrared Sauna page and the Traditional Sauna page.
WHAT TO DO AFTER YOUR SAUNA?
Aftercare Tips
Rehydrate deeply: You’ve likely sweated a lot—replenish with water or an electrolyte-rich drink.
Cool down gradually: Allow your body to return to its normal temperature slowly before showering or heading outside.
Listen to your body: You may feel deeply relaxed or a little tired—both are normal. Rest if needed.
