I grew up in Washington State and moved to Salt Lake City to attend the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1995.
I love all mountains and I moved to the area for the ski hills. I love to teach skiing in the winter.
When I was little I went to an iridologist every month, she would use muscle testing to gather information about the body. I learned early that my body knew more than me.
For me, massage school was my doorway in to learning more about myself and the human body.

Hello, my name is Unique! I was born and raised in Marion, North Carolina. I became a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist after attending The Center For Massage and Natural Health in Ashville, NC in 2018.
My mission in life is to help and care for as many people as possible. I hope how much I care for others shines through in my work. When I started massage in 2019, I had in mind that it would be a great way to care for others in a more holistic way.
For me, massage is using the art of touch to assist the body in its own healing process. I am honored to be a part of that healing process for my clients.

Massage is a conversation between what someone says and what their body has to say. My mission in the massage field is to connect the two. Over the years of self discovery and attending aloha massage in Kealakekua Hawaii, I have seen that our body keeps the score of all we encounter in this life.
I have been practicing massage since 2015, I have come to love the world of sports massage, deep tissue, and trigger point work.
As I moved home to NC began to boulder, ride mountain bikes, and hike more than ever before and realized there is power in mobility! Massage helps me maintain my active lifestyle and my hopes in the work I do is for it to also be a healthcare alleyway to keep people prioritizing their bodies, and unrestricted by any pains or traumas their body may be holding onto.

Born & raised in Boone, North Carolina, I attended Appalachian State University before discovering a love of massage therapy. I moved to Asheville in 2002 and attended The Center for Massage and Natural Health. I fell in love with bodywork and the ability to truly make a difference in improving one’s quality of life.
I believe massage therapy is one of those precious few things in life that is as equally enjoyable as it is good for you and I would love to be a part of your journey to wellness.

Throughout the past 17 years, I’ve studied therapeutic massage and how to recognize patterns intuitively in the body that can create dis-cord and dis-ease. These patterns can show up in several forms throughout the nervous system, subtle body, and physical body.
The Human Body and Mind is a direct link to our wellbeing. As we learn to balance ourselves, we can begin to draw more consciousness into the way we present ourselves to the world. Through posture awareness associated to daily habits we can look into new ways to “counterbalance” any overuse injury, help increase healing capability through the lymphatic system and learn the state of SOMA, which is rest and rejuvenation of the mind body and soul.

The body is the vehicle and we are the driver. I have spent 30 years understanding the inner workings of automobiles. Transitioning to the study of human anatomy, understanding how the body moves and what creates pain has been an exciting and natural next step in my work.
My Orthopedic Bodywork Sessions are focused on relieving chronic pain by identifying and addressing structural dysfunction.

Touch with loving intent is essential for every person to thrive. That means all bodies are deserving of healing touch - no matter their size, shape, texture, age, or gender expression.
This belief has been rooted in my massage practice since I was first licensed in 2014. When I entered massage school with Miller-Motte Technical Institute of Cary, NC in 2013, massage was more of a means to an end. Bodywork seemed like a good trade to bolster me financially while I worked towards a Bachelor's degree. Little did I know this trade would become my career, and it would bolster me through more than just financial means, but emotional and spiritual hardships as well.

Massage is amazing at creating more space, more ease, and deeper healing than we can achieve alone because it's a connection between you and your therapist in a safe, nurturing space where you're free to relax and be nurtured as you give your own body permission to do it's healing unencumbered.
Let's create openings and opportunities for expansion through therapeutic muscle tension release, Maya Abdominal Therapy, or CranioSacral Sessions.
